Seqwoya Thread Starter. Joined Dec 20, Messages I bought a new Desktop PC last night, and everything went smoothly. Soon after installation, i got a BSOD which said Physical Memory Dumping, and a number showing progress as well as other information that i couldn't record in time.

At first i thought it was a one time thing, but it began occurring more and more often. I googled it, and some people recommended some registry cleaners. I ran it and my computer went without a problem for around two hours. I shut my computer off to go eat, and when i turned it off the problem came back. The first few of the BSODs were identical, but the from then on.

They are recreated each time i get the BSOD. I was so pumped to start gaming on this PC but it's really hard with this occuring. Thank you in advance! I just ran a Memory Diagnostics Tool the one that comes with Vista and it found hardware errors.

Hope this helps find a solution. Frank4d Retired Trusted Advisor. If it's a driver it should usually give you a message along the lines of "driver caught in an infinite loop" or something like that. Gravemind , 1 May I'll check the bsod messsage again tomorrow for more details.

Hey dimebar, thanks for the info but this is not my PC that is having the problem it is my mums, she's got some XMS2 in there, I just put 1 stick on my flex in to see if it solved the problem and it hasn't. I am thinking this could be hdd related now, let me tell you what happens: Everything posts, the windows loading screen appears, then.

Sounds like HDD to me?! CriticalComp, Here are a few things I would suggest. Then perform a Clean Boot and test. This can help determine if there is a conflict with a 3rd party software. Also you may want to run the System File Checker to look for any corrupt system files. BTW - The Windows Update and a couple other forums are combined forums, so all versions of Windows go to the same forum.

Sorry for the confusion.
